Astrophytum capricorne – Goat's Horn Cactus Seeds
Astrophytum capricorne, the goat's horn cactus, pairs a white-flecked, ribbed body with long, twisted, papery spines that curl like horns. From the Chihuahuan Desert of Coahuila, Mexico, it reaches 10 inches tall and produces large yellow flowers with a red throat, considered the best in the genus.
Germination
Easy. Germination in 7–21 days; the first curled spines appear within the first year.
