Seeds

As a winter hobby using artificial lighting or an outdoor summer project, growing cacti and succulents from seed is very rewarding and easier than most might believe.  All species of cacti or succulents require constant moisture while germinating and for the first two or three weeks after germination.  After this point the seedlings are considered hardy enough to be transplanted or dry out for a day or two in-between watering.
