Copiapoa Species Mix – Chilean Cactus Seeds
A mixed packet of Copiapoa species from Chile's Atacama coast — the slow, chalky-bodied, black-spined globes that collectors prize. Each pack is a random blend of several species and forms, so every tray is a surprise and a chance to grow out something unusual. Copiapoa are slow growers that build character with age.
Germination
Moderate. Surface-sow, keep warm (70–80°F) with humidity for the first weeks; germination in 2–6 weeks and can be staggered. Patience pays — seedlings are slow.
What you'll receive
Fresh seed in the pack size you choose, with germination instructions included. The first image is an illustration of the species.
Care
Bright light with some protection from the hottest afternoon sun when young; extremely well-drained mineral soil; water sparingly and keep bone dry in winter.
About this seed
This is one of a small number of species we don't yet produce in quantity ourselves, so the seed is sourced from established US growers we trust, then stored cool and dry here on our farm in Blythe, California and sold fresh. Everything else we sell is grown on site in full desert sun.
Ships within 1 business day, Monday–Friday.
